King and council.
Nature of request
Astelot Auger states that while he was in the king's service at Bourg during the war, he lost everything he had, and that he was captured by the French and imprisoned in Brittany. He requests the land formerly held by Ponset de Skalet, a great enemy of the king's, in the barony of Lesparre, in compensation. [Added later] He asks that the Seneschal of Gascony might be ordered to inform himself of this, and, if he finds that he served in this way, that the land might be delivered to him, [another addition], as he and his father have lost £100 sterling of rent and more, and the land he asks for is only worth 60 s.
