- The Abbess of Holy Trinity, Caen, states that she is being distrained for an aid to marry the eldest daughter of the late king, in the lands that she holds by knight's fees; although she holds nothing in knight's fees, as can be seen from her charters. She asks that the Chancellor might examine these charters, and, according to their form, issue a writ to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to discharge her from this aid.
