- Raymond de Mieucens states that the king owes him various debts for his service in the wars in Gascony, and requests letters patent to the present Constable of Bordeaux, or to the person who will be Constable, or to his lieutenant, to account with him and to pay him what can clearly [de cler] be found to be due to him, or to give him an annual allowance in his farm for the king's castle of Mauleon, until he is fully paid.

Note (Additional information about the record)
- From the hand and language, this petition would seem to date to shortly after the war of St Sardos, and probably to the early years of the reign of Edward III. The custody of Mauleon was to the petitioner on 20 August 2 Edward III (1328) (m.3 of C 61/40).
