Nature of request
The merchants of Amiens state that they have various merchandises, such as woad, in King's Lynn, for which they have paid the due customs, but that the Mayor and community of King's Lynn are demanding toll from them, and have distrained them for this. They request a writ to the Mayor and community, telling them that they are quit of toll, and ordering them to release the distraints made on them.

They are to have a writ to the Mayor and bailiffs not to demand toll from them, other than they ought to do and hitherto etc.
