- Gilian Bernard de Montgauryn states that he has suffered great hardships and damages through the war, and has done great destruction to the Normans and the king's other enemies; and has lost two ships and other merchandise. He asks the king and council to inform themselves on this from the Gascons who have come, and to give him some aid in the form of a ship or galley, or victuals, so that he can continue to serve the king; or to give him some other aid.
