Nature of request
Amaneu de Fossat and Peter de Galart request confirmation of gifts of enemy land and goods made to their fathers, Amaneu de Fossat and Bertrand de Galart, and to their heirs and successors by the Earl of Kent, until they had recovered their inheritances, lost because of their service to the king's father. They also ask that the present Constable of Bordeaux, or the person who will be Constable, might be ordered to pay them the money due to them for their wages and the loss of their horses.
Nature of endorsement

Note
Datable to 1327-1330 by mention of service to the king's father, and of consultation with the Earl of Kent, who died in 1330. Clearly contemporary with SC 8/285/14209. Wrongly dated in Rot. Parl. vol. I p.441a-b (no. 45) to 19 Edward II (8 July 1325-7 July 1326).
