Nature of request
Arnold de Mont Pesat asks the king and council to order the Constable of Bordeaux to account with him for the money due to him for wages and compensation for lost horses, and to pay him as soon as he can.
Nature of endorsement
The Constable of Bordeaux is to be ordered to account with him and to pay him what is found from the account to be due to him, as soon as he properly can.
Note
The order to pay the petitioner on m.2 of C 61/45 is dated 3 August 7 Edward III (1333), and would seem to be in response to this petition or (since no mention is made in the roll of lost horses) to a similar one. The dorse is very similar to SC 8/285/14212, which is datable to 1327-1332.
