[This document is badly faded] Letter to Edward I from the Abbot and convent of Blasimont, apparently asking him to take the inhabitants of the bastide of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne into his protection, as they are menaced by John de Graelio, William Raymond de Gauciaco(?) and others, and mentioning the inquisition held by Adam de Norflor' and John de Forgetis.

From the contents, contemporary with SC 8/283/14143.Roles Gascons, vol. II no.523 is dated 10 November 9 Edward I (1281), no.527 is dated 28 November, nos. 599-600 are dated 4 July (1282), and nos.605-606 are dated 3 July (1282). As from the contents of this petition the inquisition appears to have taken place, it would seem to be datable to 1282.
