Peter Cailhau and Bertrand Cailhau state that the king has granted them £1500 of the money that is current in Gascony, and that Bertrand has leased the castellany of Blanquefort for a year; they ask the king to allow the farm to them in payment of this gift, and that they may have a suitable warranty that they will hold the castellany until the £1500 has been paid.

They will be paid from the issues of Gascony, and at the prince's prayer the Constable of Bordeaux will be ordered that their pay is to be hastened.
