Nature of request
Dominica dou Sengynet states that by a judgment of the bailli of the court of Labourd at Ustaritz all the goods and inheritances of Arnold Santz de Luc, burgess of Bayonne, should be delivered to her in payment of a debt of £4000 of good petty tournois, and asks that the seneschal of Gascony, his lieutenant, and all the king's other officers might be ordered to put and maintain Dominica and her executors in possession of these goods until her debt is completely paid.
Nature of endorsement
This petition is to be sent to the seneschal of Gascony, and he is to advise himself on the things contained in it, and further to do for the said Dominica what can reasonably be done in this matter without offence to the law and to the laws (fores) and customs of the country.
