- The religious of the church of Dommartin state that by an agreement made between them and the king's father, they enjoy the rights of the vicomte in all their lands and tenements in Ponthieu, within their enclosures and without, excepting high justice outside their enclosures, which belongs to the king, and that disputes have arisen between them and the king's men about whether certain cases are high justice or not. They ask that good men might be chosen on both sides who can take counsel from wise men and from the customs of the country as to which cases belong to them and which to the king.
