Nature of request
Arnold Comarcii states that his wages were assigned to be paid in his absence from the treasury of the Agenais, although this is very distant from him, and asks that the seneschal of Perigord might be ordered to give him a bailiwick in his seneschalcy to the value of his wages: so that if the bailiwick exceeds the value of his wages he might be obliged to return the remainder at the treasury of Perigord.

The order to pay the petitioner in his absence from the treasury of the Agenais on m.16 of C 61/33 is dated 22 September 13 Edward II (1319), and a note has been added stating that the letters to the treasurer of the Agenais were cancelled and replaced by letters to the treasurer of Perigord in 14 Edward II (8 July 1320- & July 1321). The instructions to the constable to give the treasurer of Perigord an allowance for this in his account on m. 7d are dated 4 August in that year (1320). Check no.4984 of C 81/185 and C 61/43 m.7.
