[This petition is slightly damaged] John Talbot states that Oliver de Ingham, formerly Seneschal of Gascony, granted him, for his long service to the king and his father, the lands, rents, goods and chattels which had belonged to John de Fors, rebel and enemy of the king, but that he has been expelled from these lands by the accord between the kings of England and France. He asks that he might instead have, for term of life, the livery that Ellis le Barber had in the [abbey of St Thom]as the martyr near Dublin.

Note
Oliver de Ingham was Seneschal of Gascony twice, between March 1326 and February 1327, and between June 1332 and July 1343, but the mention of the late king and of the truce between the kings of England and France dates this petition to around 1327, after the end of Ingham's first period of office.
