Note (Additional information about the record)
- From the hand and content, this petition would seem to be from the early years of the reign of Edward III. Peter le Galicien was treasurer of the Agenais in 17 Edward II (8 July 1323-7 July 1324) (C 61/35, m.31), and possibly for some years after this. The orders to pay the petitioner on m.5 of C 61/41 are dated 18 August 1329, and are probably in response to this petition.
