- From the hand and language, and the mention of war, this petition, like most of the others in this file, probably comes from the early years of Edward III. From the mention of the sending of a Seneschal in the endorsement, it probably comes either from around the time of the appointment of John de Haustede in February 1327 or of Oliver de Ingham in June 1332.
