Sir John Norris to Dartmouth: he arrived with the Turkey convoy at Port Mahon on 5 December. Provisions are so low there is bread for only 50 days at half allowance, so that as soon as the ships return from Barcelona they will have to resolve on how to get provisions. The queen of Spain fears an attack on Girone. He encloses a copy of the council of war of 9 December. Dated on board Ranelagh at Port Mahon.
