Forwards papers respecting certain French subjects accused of murder and who have escaped from Martinique to St Lucia and Trinidad. Referred to Colonial Office because of dissatisfaction expressed by Count de Moges with the opinion of the law officers in St Lucia that there was insufficient evidence to prove that the crime had really been committed, or to justify return of the persons concerned.
