Resolution of a council of war held on HMS Ranelagh in the Gulf of Terra Nova on 7 June 1710: the troops under General Browne having taken the garrison and town of 'Terra Nova', the council resolves to sail to Cagliari to consult with the viceroy.
Resolution of a council of war held on HMS Ranelagh in the Bay of Ajaccio on 9 June 1710: on passing through the Bocche di Bonifacio the fleet gained intelligence that the enemy galleys and vessels had sailed north to Ajaccio. The enemy troops have been taken into the mountains, and the governor of Ajaccio has sent assurance that he will not receive them. The council considers them unfit for any further attempt on Sardinia and resolves to sail for Barcelona.

Resolution of a council of war held on board HMS Ranelagh off Barcelona on 18 June 1710: in accordance with a letter from the king of Spain [Charles III] the fleet will sail to Tarragona and disembark the troops there. They will leave orders to British and Dutch ships arriving at Barcelona to follow them.
Resolution of a council of war held on HMS Ranelagh in Tarragona Road on 23 June 1710: king of Spain wishes the fleet to appear on the coasts of Valencia and Roussillon. As they are only eight ships they will not separate, but sail first to the coast of Valencia and try to destroy the magazines at Vinaroz and then to Roussillon via the rendezvous at Barcelona. Two ships will be detached to escort transports fetching horses from Sardinia.
Resolution of a council of war held on board HMS Ranelagh off Vinaroz: since the town of Vinaroz is well defended the fleet will sail westward along the coast before returning to Barcelona.
