Description

Sir George Byng to Sunderland: when he commanded the fleet in the Mediterranean the previous year he installed some ships' guns in the battery of Port Mahon harbour and prolonged a truce with the alcaid of Tetuan. He asks Sunderland to lay his letter before the queen so that she may give an order in council to the board of ordnance. Dated at Panton Square. No. 78
