[Rear Admiral Sir] John Baker [to Sunderland]: he cannot proceed further while the wind is contrary, but will do so as soon as it shifts to the north. He has ordered Captain Raymond at Plymouth to join him when he appears there, but to come to Torbay if the wind stays in the west. If Baker is delayed long, he requests fresh provisions for the troops. Dated on board Stirling Castle at Torbay. No. 73
