1882-1942
Instruments filed in the Filing and Record Department of the Central Office of the Supreme Court by which one person is empowered to represent, or act on behalf of, the other. The instruments are accompanied by statutory declarations or by Queen's Bench or Chancery affidavits verifying execution. Many of them were taken out under the Trustee Act 1925 to cover absence abroad; others arise from personal incapacity.
From 1882 until 1925 instruments are listed in chronological order. From 1931 until 1942 they are arranged alphabetically within years, under the first letter of the name of the party executing the power.
