The series does include material generated by his predecessors and inherited by him. The predecessors of Master William Henry Oswald Stewart Jobson (1912-1917) in his role as a Master/Chief Clerk were Master Edward Lionel Clarke (1880-1911), Master Joshua Bird Allen (1870-1879) and, for causes with initial letters G-K, Master Edward Bloxam (1867-1882) and Master Edward Weatherall (1858-1866); and for causes with initial letters L-N, Master Henry Leman (1852-1872).
These papers relate mainly to actions concerning the administration of estates and to company winding-up proceedings.
