Folios 229-231. Letter from Thos. Cox, Church Warden, Werburgh, Derby, concerning a break-in of the parish church of St Werburgh. Several Bibles, prayer books, and Psalm books were cut and destroyed, as were cushions and the linings to the pews. Enclosed is a reward poster offering £40 to anyone who can give information against the offender or offenders. Mr Cox asks if government might extend the reward to £100.
