Folios 224-228. Letter from Mr D Sykes concerning the violent robbery of Jos. Coulson of Rowley. He asks if a pardon can be offered 'to any one of the villains who shall give evidence against his accomplices'. Enclosed is a handbill detailing the robbery, and an undated letter by Sykes saying that a reward of 20 guineas will be paid by Jos. Coulson's master Mr Turner, Newbald Wold, Yorkshire East Riding, for the apprehension of any of the robbers.
