Folios 205-206. Letter from Mr Guy, Chippenham, on behalf of Revd J W Beader, concerning a fire on the property of Lord Carnarvon in which a barn and its contents of 25 stacks of wheat were destroyed. Mr Beader will offer a reward of £50 for the conviction of the offender and he wishes to obtain a pardon for an accomplice. Asking if the government will offer a reward or take other measures as necessary.
