Folios 186-187. Letter from Messrs King and Pell, Lewes, regarding a fire on the property Stephen Searle, Folkington, Longbridge, Sussex. Includes a copy of Mr Searle's deposition in which he states that a fire broke out in some ricks near his house and consumed 1 stack of wheat, 1 of beans and one rick of oats. A barn and a granary were also consumed by fire. The letter also mentions a Mr Pagden who saw three separate fires start at the same time.
