Folios 182-183. Letter from Mr Albany Savile, Oaklands, Okehampton, Devon, regarding a letter sent to government by Mr Calmady P Hamlyn asking for a pardon to be given to anyone concerned in setting fire to some cover (woodland) of his in 1819. He states that Mr Hamlyn would like to obtain a pardon for the actual perpetrator, as they both believe it was only a subordinate agent who committed the act.
