Folios 173-174. Letter from Messrs Osborne and Ward, Bristol, Gloucestershire, concerning 'the burglary and acts of violence committed in the cottage of John Godfrey the road Surveyor'. They state that the commissioners of the Turnpike Roads will give a reward of £20 and that Joseph Parker of Upton in the parish of Bitton offers a further reward of £32.10 on behalf of the inhabitants of Bitton, Gloucestershire.
