Folios 142-143. Letter from Mr Taylor concerning the supposed murder of Mr Wood. He mentions that a maid servant in a house close to where it is believed Wood was attacked heard the cries of a man and 'the groans of Death'. The body is missing but everything has been done to find it, and he thinks the corporation will offer £50 reward. Also asks if an offer of pardon can be given in 'the usual way' and if the government can give £100 reward.
