Pre-fire Buildings: Old House of Peers. Watercolour perspective drawing showing the east side of Old Palace Yard. The south gable of Westminster Hall is visible on the left. A covered way extends almost the whole length. No scale shown. The style is Tudor and is almost identical with James Wyatt's designs on WORK 29/12 and WORK 29/13. The stone building (Law Courts) of 1755 are ignored and the Tudor design is carried as far as New Palace Yard. This would appear to be a perspective drawing of Wyatt's design, the southern part of which was carried out. ORDER AS WORK 29/12
