- Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 18.4.1518 The Sheriff had replied to an earlier writ that Thomas was not found in the bailiwick, but on the day of the recognisance he was seized in demesne of a messuage, 60 acres of land, and 9 acres of meadow in Ashton next to Oundle in [Polebrook Hundred] Northants, worth 33s. 4d a year.
