Debtor: Robert Weston, of London, gentleman; otherwise called Robert Weston, citizen and mercer, of London.

Creditor: Walter Champion, citizen and draper, of London.

Amount: £60.

Before whom: John Tate, Mayor of the Staple of Westminster.

Sent by: Chancery.

Endorsement: John Veer, knight, Sheriff, replies that Robert Weston was not found in the bailiwick.

Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 22/04/1520 [over an erasure]. The Sheriff had replied to an earlier writ that Robert Weston was seised in demesne of a messuage, called le faune, otherwise Percy's, in Aveley in Essex [in Chafford Hundred], worth £8 a year; of a tenement in Aveley, called le Harowe, worth 20s. a year; of a tenement with a garden, called The House {the Howse} at the town's end, and half an acre of land belonging to the tenement in Aveley, worth 13s. 4d. a year; and of Cypress Hill {Ceperus Hill} with three acres of meadow, worth 8s. He had no goods or chattels.
