Before whom: William Brown the elder, Mayor of the Staple of Westminster.

Writ to: Sheriff of Hunts

Sent by: Chancery.

Endorsement: Anthony Malory, Sheriff, replies that the execution of the writ appears in the inquisition.

Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 20/10/1507. Attached is: (a) Another writ, dated 10/11/1509, requiring the Sheriff to imprison the debtor and to extend his property; it is endorsed by the Sheriff with the information that the inquisition accompanies the writ. (b) The inquisition made at Huntingdon on Thu., 22/04/1507, before Anthony Malory, Sheriff: on the day of the recognisance the Earl of Kent was seised in demesne of the Manor of Brampton [in Blything Hundred] with all its lands, etc., worth £49 6s. 3½d. a year; and of the Manor of Hemingford Grey [in Toseland Hundred, Hunts.], worth £30 a year after expenses.
