Debtor: Richard, Lord Beauchamp, John Godyff, of London, gentleman, and William Lamberd, of Nuneaton {Nonheton'} in Warwicks. [Hemlingford Hundred].

Creditor: William Botry, citizen and mercer, of London.

Amount: £50.

Before whom: John Brown, knight, Mayor of the Staple of Westminster.

When taken: 02/09/1496

Writ to: Sheriff of Warwicks

Sent by: Chancery.

Endorsement: Richard Pudsey, knight, Sheriff, replies that the debtors were not found in his bailiwick. The execution of the rest of the writ appears in the schedule.

Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 13/10/1499. Attached is the inquisition made at Warwick on Mon., 30/09/1499 before Richard Pudsey, knight. Richard, Lord Beauchamp, was seised on the day of the recognisance of the Manors of Alcester and Beauchamp Court in Warwicks. The Manor of Alcester is worth £18 and the Manor of Beauchamp Court is worth £8 after expenses; they were seised into the King's hands. He had no goods or chattels in the bailiwick. John Godyff and William Lambard had no lands or tenements, goods or chattels in the bailiwick.
