Richard Vere, knight, was seized in demesne of: a tenement, called Astclyns, and 2 messuages, 300 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow, 60 acres of pasture, 2 acres of woodland, and a rent of 7s. 3d., in High Ongar, Magdalen Laver, North Weald, Moreton, and Bobbingworth [all in Ongar Hundred, Essex], worth altogether £8.
