Attached is the inquisition made at Brentwood in Essex before Roger Ree, Sheriff, on Wed., 23/10/1465: John Godyng had no chattels on the day of the recognisance, but he was seized in demesne of 2 messuages, 32 acres of land, 2 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture, and pasture for 54 sheep, in Estylbury and Westylbury, worth 6m. a year after expenses.
