Inquisition and return: Date given for return to Chancery: 6.10.1394 Attached is the extent made at Exeter on Tue. 22.9.1394. The jury say that John Berye had on the day of the recognisance in Lustleigh in Devon [Teignbridge Hundred] a messuage, a carucate of land and a rent of 40s., worth in all 8m. a year; and a messuage, and a carucate of land and a rent of 20s. in Aylestone and Worthy worth 5m. after expenses. Dorse: Memo. that 6.11.1398 the messuages, lands and rents were assigned to Richard.
