Endorsement: John Botiller, Sheriff, replies that the execution of the writ appears in the extent. Thomas Bradfield is dead.

Inquisition and return: Date given for return to Chancery: 13.4.1399. Attached is the extent, made at Dartford [Dartford and Wilmington Hundred] on Mon. 10.2.1399 before John Botiller, Sheriff of Kent. The jury say that Thomas Bradfield had in demesne on the day of the recognisance the manor called Borefordscourt, otherwise called the manor of Gartones in the vills of Lessness {Lesnes} and Erith [Little and Lessness Hundred] which is worth after expenses £7 14s. 4d. He also had a messuage called Nortones with a dove-cot in the vills of Lessness and Bexley [Ruxley Hundred] which are worth nothing after expenses and an assize rent of 12d. He had 80 acres of arable, 2 acres of meadow, 20 acres of pasture and 16 acres of woodland in Lessness and Bexley worth, after 2 services, £6 8s.
