Nature of request
The Prior of Leeds make various requests:1) That a writ be sent to the farmers or keepers of the manor of Wateringbury, ordering them to pay him the 5s 4d annual rent due to him by ancient charters.2) That the £20 fine imposed upon him for the grant of the moiety of the church of Hallaton in 42 Edward III be exonerated.3) That a writ be issued to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer, ordering payment of sums due to him in connection with hay and carriage of beasts in the parks of Leeds and Langley in 42 and 43 Edward III.

Note
A writ to the farmers of Wateringbury, seemingly in the form requested, was issued on 29 November 1369 (CCR 1369-74, p.54), suggesting that it was probably a direct response to this petition. The grant referred to in the first request was licensed on 12 May 1368 (CPR 1367-70, p.107).
