Commonalty of the county of Cornwall.

Nature of request
The commonalty request confirmation of their charter of King John, and they request remedy and that the sheriff be their escheator as has always been the case since the making of the charter until 12 years previously when Harcla acted in the county.
Nature of endorsement
The charter and is to be sent under the great seal to Thomas de la Hyde and that he enquire of all the points contained in the charter and certify the king if it be to the damage of the king to confirm the charter.
