Edmund de la Mare requests the grant for the term of his life of the office of the clerk of the maltort and alnager of cloths in Lincolnshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, or that he be sub-escheator in the counties of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire for his long service to the king and his father in Berwick, Scotland, Flanders, Ireland and at sea, he being wounded, ransomed and incurred great costs in service.
