- The petition dates to c. 1294-c. 1297 as references to the appointment of monks of the abbey to the custody of the land, and to the restoration of the lands of the abbey to the proctor of the abbot, if not directly relating to the petition, must be close in date (CPR 1292-1301, pp. 74, 241).
