The parson requests that the king will grant the tithes from the portion of the wood of Salcey that was lately the prior of Lenton's, and which he gave the king for three carts of firewood a day in the wood of Bestwood, and that he can purchase against the other [? assarters/churches] in court Christian.
Nature of endorsement
He should sue in court Christian if he considers it expedient, and if he is impeded by prohibitions of the king, he should return to the king's court, and let such remedy by done there as by right ought to be done.
