- Marreis requests that the king will grant that William de Langley is able to hold a messuage and croft and a virgate of land in Langley Marish for the rent of 20s. in fee to him and his heirs by charter of the king as this is to the profit of the king, and no other will give as much. The land came into her hands because of the great charge of the rent and services, but she has leased it to Langley for his life rendering 20s.
