[Petition in two parts:]1) The citizens request that the king will renew the acts of his progenitors granting them the liberties as those of London with words expressly mentioning the assay of weights and measures as they have not been allowed these because they are not expressly mentioned in the acts.2) Similar request for tronage, holding the farm for a certain sum.

The petition is speculatively dated to c. 1320-c. 1345 on the basis of the hand. There is a confirmation with significant additional grants, but these do not include those requested in the petition and seems unlikely to have any relevance (CChR 1327-41, p. 55).
