- [Petition in two parts:]1) Vilein requests that delivery is made to him of the 8 sacks of his wool arrested at Boston at the complaint of a man of Beverley and delivered to that man for a robbery that the men of Flanders made upon the sea as he is not of the affinity of the men of Flanders.2) He requests the king's letters [of protection] so that he and his people and goods are able to come and go by land and sea without impediment paying the customs used in England.
