- [Petition in two parts:]1) Otho de Monte Guiscardo states that the king previously ordered that he be provided with his clothing and expenses, but that the money given him to buy clothes is inadequate, so that he is in debt in London; and his wages are still owing to him for a great part of the time of Philip le Coffrer and of Ralph le Coffrer. He asks that these sums might be delivered to him.2) He states that his son Arnold was in England for a year and more, and his nephew [or grandson], William, for three years and more, and that they had no sustenance except from Otho, who is deeply in debt because of this. He asks that he might be provided for in this regard.
