The abbot and convent request that the king give and grant his estate that he has in their grange of Sheltwood by forfeiture in aid of their sustenance without making a fine. They granted the grange to the Cassys for their lives but the grange was seized into the king's hand by the escheator as forfeit as the alienation was made against the statute.
