Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1318 as the escheator was ordered to take the lands of the petitioner's late husband into his hand 25 October 1317, and he was ordered to deliver the same to the son and heir on 30 January 1318 (CFR 1307-19, pp.343, 351-2). The petition must be nearly contemporary with these.
