Nature of request
Veys requests that the king will grant his grace of the abjuration of the Taverners and Martin so that they can return into England. They were forced to abjure because Badlesmere wrongfully sued them for trespass and felony of which they were not culpable. The case before Brabazon to have the record of their suit and those of other victims examined is delayed by Badlesmere so that it is requested that the record be redressed according to the law.
